The pregnancy, birth & baby support service is available 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week to provide you with general information about pregnancy, birthing, post-natal care, and parenting in the first 12 months.
You can call the helpline on 1800 882 436. Our specialist customer service representatives are trained to provide you with high-quality information, and to redirect you to other services if appropriate.
The pregnancy, birth & baby helpline is not an emergency service. For all emergencies, please call 000.
Online information about pregnancy, birthing, post-natal care, and parenting is available through healthdirect’s health information gateway, HealthInsite. You can do a search for information on any topic, or use the A - Z Health Topics List to find pages covering such areas as Family Planning and Fertility, Pregnancy, Birth, Child Health, and Family Life.
